Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Shown Off Ahead of Next Week's beta

Take a gander at the return of tomahawks and RC-XD cars!

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will hit consoles starting October 25, 2024. Before the game releases, Microsoft is giving fans a chance to play it via an open beta starting September 6 and ending on September 9, 2024. In preparation of that, the company has released a trailer showing off the multiplayer in Black Ops 6, which you can view below:

The multiplayer in Black Ops 6 promises a return to some of the aspects of the earlier installments that fans loved, including tomahawks and RC-XD cars. Treyarch is also promising 16 new maps to explore, along with a bunch of other things like a Gunsmith and a classic Prestige progression system.

It hasn't been all fun and games for the buildup to Black Ops 6, however, as there was much discourse over the inclusion of the game as part of the now more expensive tier of Xbox Game Pass, a move that even prompted a back-and-forth between Microsoft and the FTC. Regardless, Treyarch and Microsoft are focused on getting Black Ops 6 ready for primetime when it launches this fall.
