Take your first look at the upcoming relaunch.

Daredevil is being relaunched yet again (is it even a relaunch at this point when these things happen so regularly now at Marvel?), with the latest number one issue slated for an April 1, 2026 release. The creative team is.... well, it's new, certainly, with Stephanie Phillips as writer and Lee Garbett as artist. Philips is taking a page from J. Michael Straczynski's run of Amazing Spider-Man run by turning Matt into a teacher. Specifically a lecturer at Empire State University. Here's a preview of the issue:

There are a boatload of alternate covers, including the dreaded blindbags that have been infesting shops of late. It's a lot, so if you're interested, you can hit up this link and check them out. The jury (no pun intended) is out as to whether or not Phillips can deliver a story that fans will want to stick around for given her track record with stale series like the recent Phoenix ongoing. The new run will be focused on Matt's aforementioned teaching gig, as well as a new enemy called Omen.
