The device can also charge Switch's wireless NES controllers.
As is the Nintendo way, the company continues to eke out announcements of games and products between its iconic Direct broadcasts. The latest such reveal is that Nintendo will be releasing a new two-way Joy-Con Charging Stand that can power both a pair of Joy-Con as well as Switch's wireless NES controllers. The company made the announcement via its official X account:
The Joy-Con Charging Stand will hit retail starting October 17, 2024. No word yet on pricing, but if we hear anything, we'll let you know. It's also unclear if the device will support the charging of Switch's wireless SNES controllers, but it looks like they'll fit on there—we'll just have to find out on launch day.
