Sid Meier's Civilization VII was finally given an official release date during today's Gamescom Opening Night presentation. The simulation game will release on February 11, 2025. Civilization VII is being touted as Fireaxis Games' biggest release to date. In a first for the series, players will be able to mix and match leaders irrespective of where they actually hail from. Historical era have also been altered, with a new streamlined setup of antiquity, exploration, and modern. You can look forward to trying out these changes when the game comes to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, and PC next year.
