There will also be deluxe reprints of their original team-ups from 1976 and 1981.

The crossovers aren't done yet between Marvel and DC. Following the Batman and Deadpool books from this year, the two publishers will be re-teaming to reunite the two biggest names in all of superhero comics come 2026: Superman and Spider-Man. DC made the announcement via a press release:

DC and Marvel’s crossover initiative continuing into 2026 is a celebration of comics’ enduring power. With record-breaking sales and a growing audience across generations, comic books are at the center of the cultural conversation. Comics have never been more vital, more visible, and more vibrantly alive. By bringing Superman and Spider-Man back together after 50 years for new stories with new writers and artists, DC and Marvel are honoring a shared legacy while inviting fans into a new era of collaboration, creativity, and character-driven storytelling.
In brief, the first of the new crossovers will be Superman/Spider-Man #1 in March 2026, followed by Spider-Man/Superman #1 shortly thereafter in April. Arguably more exciting is word that DC will be reprinting two classic Superman/Spider-Man crossovers at the beginning of the new year, as well.
On 01.07.26, DC will publish Treasury Edition 50th Anniversary of Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man #1, which is a reprint of the characters' first meeting in 1976. Then, on 02.04.26 the publisher will send DC and Marvel Present: Superman and Spider-Man Treasury Edition #1 to comic shops. It is a reprint of 1981's Marvel Treasury Edition #28. This is certainly exciting news for collectors and hopefully the sort of momentum-builder that will start things off strong for comic book shops in 2026.
