The affable feline finally has a release date on Nintendo's hybrid console.

Announced back during the June Nintendo Direct broadcast, Annapurna Interactive and BlueTwelve Studios' Stray was revealed to be coming to Nintendo Switch sometime around Christmas. We've come find, however, that the game will be arriving a bit sooner than that, launching instead on November 19, 2024. Here's the trailer showing off the game and its release date:

Stray is already available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, but has heretofore been absent on Nintendo's diminutive console. It's evident some concessions have been made to get the game running on Switch's less powerful hardware, but it's nonetheless pleasing to see such a great game make its way onto the platform.

For the uninitiated, Stray is a third-person adventure where players must guide a cat out of a forgotten city. With cyberpunk visuals, tight platforming, clever puzzles to solve, and a captivating narrative, this is the sort of unusual game that makes this medium of entertainment so endearing. Definitely keep Stray on Nintendo Switch on your radar if you have yet to play it.
