Gamescom: Goat Simulator: Remastered Launches This Year

It will be releasing with all of the previous DLC, including a piece that was formerly mobile-only.

The OG Goat Simulator is making a comeback. Dubbed Goat Simulator: Remastered, the game promises to bring back all of the fun and antics of the original but with improved visuals and much more. First, let's check out the game's trailer:

Here's how developer Coffe Stain Studios describes the game for those who have never played it:

In Goat Simulator, step into the hooves of Pilgor, a rambunctious goat with a tendency for destruction and chaos. Jump, kick, and lick your way across GoatVille as you find creative ways to ruin NPC’s days. Players earn points for the destruction they cause, which are used to unlock new features and mutators to enhance the goaty gameplay.

Now, what to expect beyond Goat Simulator: Remastered looking prettier? This time around, players will be able to swap between Pilgor and friends on the fly as opposed to having to relaunch the game every time. This reimagining of mutators should make it a lot more convenient to get the appearance you want while playing. Most importantly for fans will be to hear that all of the glitches they know and love will be back for this remaster. Coffee Stain is also throwing in all of the previously-released DLC, including one that was mobile-only:

  • GoatVille

  • Goat City Bay

  • Goat MMO

  • Goat Z

  • PAYDAY

  • Waste of Space

  • Buck to School - From Goat Simulator Mobile

This release is being timed to coincide with the original Goat Simulator turning ten (yes, it has somehow been a decade since it launched). However, at this time we don't know exactly when it will come out, other than sometime later in 2024. Goat Simulator: Remastered will be releasing on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
