"My old eyes appreciate the larger screen."

Nintendo Switch 2 made some waves when it was announced back on January 16, and in the time since then speculation has grown somehow even more rampant than when the rumor mill was churning before its official reveal. Now, Xbox head Phil Spencer is adding to the fun with talk of bringing games from Microsoft's platform to Nintendo's new console. He revealed the news speaking with Danny Peña and GamerTagRadio:
Here's a bit from the exchange:
[Emailing Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa, I] gave him a big congrats and said my old eyes appreciate the larger screen. I know how simple that is, but it's not always true that I can read all the text.
[I'm} really looking forward to supporting them with the games that we have.
Now, which games might Spencer be referring to? Well, that will depend on a couple of different factors, perhaps the most pertinent being just how powerful Nintendo Switch 2 is compared to its contemporaries. If the system isn't within sniffing distance of the power of a Series S, at minimum, then it will be rather difficult to get any of Xbox's latest titles running on the hardware. If Switch 2 is at least as powerful as a Series S, then that would open up the doors for Xbox games like Starfield and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle to eventually make their way to Nintendo.
