The run will begin with Batman #158 in March 2025.

Word on the street was that writer Jeph Loeb and artist Jim Lee would be returning to the monthly Batman series at some point in the not-so-distant future. During this past weekend's New York Comic Con the news became official that the duo would indeed be back, starting with Batman #158 in March of next year. The story? Hush 2 (or H2SH, as DC puts it, which is atrocious and hereby rejected).
In a refreshing change, rather than begin with a new #1 issue, Batman will continue apace following the departure of current writer Chip Zdarsky and maintain its most current numbering. It appears the run will be 12 issues long as the original Hush was, with the first look at the new storyline coming in Justice League Unlimited #1 in November. Beyond that, it was also announced that Loeb and Lee will be reuniting with Scott Williams on inks, Alex Sinclair on colors, and Richard Starkings on lettering. There's a short unlettered and uncolored preview that you can check out, below:
While the American comic book industry continues to struggle, it's a positive sign that DC is bringing back Loeb and Lee to the mainline Batman series and, hopefully, a signal that the publisher is finally taking seriously fans' displeasure with the current state of things. Whether or not Hush 2 will live up to the hype... only time will tell, but it's an exciting prospect, nonetheless.
