The biggest annual event of the comic book industry is nearly here!
Every year, comic book fans from all over the world gather at the San Diego Convention Center for San Diego Comic-Con International. This year marks the 56th anniversary of the convention, which began in 1970 and has continued on ever since. The 2026 edition of Comic-Con will be held from July 23 to July 26, 2026.
The heavy hitters of the comic book industry are always present in one form or another, including Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, IDW, and many others. Marvel is planning to dive into its Avengers: Armageddon event book as well as its upcoming Midnight Universe publishing initiative. DC, meanwhile, will be focusing on its upcoming 100th anniversary as well as developments in the Absolute Universe, its Next Level publishing initiative, and more.
