Stop us if you've heard this one, but he's no longer the Sorcerer Supreme...

Stephen Strange seems to spend a lot of time these days discovering ways to not be the Sorcerer Supreme. Such will the be case once again starting December 3, 2025 when Doctor Strange #1 hits stores and the magical surgeon finds himself stranded on Asgard and no longer the Sorcerer Supreme—of Earth. Yes, for this series Stephen will instead be the Sorcerer Supreme of Asgard, replete with new "Asgardian magic." Here's the solicit:

STEPHEN STRANGE, STRANDED!
After becoming Sorcerer Supreme of Asgard, Strange lost his chance at redemption—and revenge against Doom—when Loki murdered Thor, cutting Midgard off from the other nine realms. With no way home and few allies remaining in Asgard, Strange travels to Alfheim to investigate an emerging crisis. But in an unfamiliar land, can Strange prevent elves and angels from going to war over a mysterious coffin? Maybe, with some help from Heven's own Angela!
Strange will be getting a new look in this series courtesy of artist Geoff Shaw, which fans cans see for the first time in next months Doctor Strange #450 one-shot. This series will be written by Derek Landy, drawn by Ian Fiorelli, and will boast covers by fantasy artist Alex Horley. The issue will also feature (bet you didn't see this coming) a range of variant covers by Fanyang, Lucian Vecchio, and Ivan Fiorelli:
