Boom-Boom enters the fold in this new run.

Fans seemed to dig Inglorious X-Force, the most recent incarnation of the X-Force series at Marvel, so naturally it was canceled and has been rebranded as yet another miniseries. At least it's sticking around, as Fugitive X-Force looks to continue where the last series leaves off. Issue one is slated to launch December 9, 2026 with writer Tim Seeley returning alongside new artist Áthila Fabbio.

Seeley says that Fugitive X-Force is "a natural extension of Inglorious, following up with the ramifications of the events of that series, with the militant, mutant strikeforce forced to pick up the pieces and move on." Seeley goes on to say that the team is "on their own, wanted for murder, and hanging on by a thread." Boom-Boom comes on as leader to help guide them through this latest chapter.
