D23: Daredevil and Captain America headline Marvel's Announcements

Previews and plot details were revealed for multiple projects.

D23 had plenty of Marvel news to share this year. Kevin Feige detailed a number of different projects for fans to look forward to, starting with Captain America: Brave New World. Footage at the event revealed Harrison Ford's Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross transforming into the Red Hulk, offering fans the clearest glimpse yet at the character. (although the footage has yet to be officially shown outside of the expo).

Daredevil: Born Again also got some attention at the show. The series represents the integration of the Netflix Marvel shows into the mainline MCU. The original version of the series was apparently so dreadful that Bob Iger himself had to intervene and ask that the team start from scratch with new creators. A two-minute trailer was shown off the rejiggered series and revealed that Ms. Marvel's father from the nominal Disney+ series will be featured in some capacity. The original cast, including Jon Bernthal's Punisher, are all set to return alongside Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock.

Beyond that, Agatha All Along, Ironheart, and Fantastic Four: First Steps all got some love during the show, as well. Agatha will get a two-episode premier on Disney+ starting September 18, 2024. After multiple delays (the show has been done for a while now), Ironheart will hit Disney+ in 2025. FInally, Fantastic Four is coming to theaters July 25, 2025.
