Xbox Wireless Controller Breaker Series Announced

The new designs hit stores starting next week.

Say what you will about Microsoft's recent attitude towards console development, but there's no denying that of the big three video game companies, it's arguably the best when it comes to producing controller designs. The new Xbox Wireless Controllers Breaker Series have been announced and come in three different colorways. Take a peek:

They say good things come in threes – and the Xbox Wireless Controller Breaker special edition series is no exception. This bold new family of special edition controllers includes Heart Breaker, Ice Breaker, and Storm Breaker. For the very first time, three distinct special edition controllers are launching simultaneously, each with their own personality and unique features – from metallic coatings to frosted translucent elements – offering players more choice from day one.

Here are the three designs:

The controllers will sell for $79.99 apiece and go on sale beginning 09.09.25. Alas, while this is certainly a little frustrating for completionists, at least they're pretty cool looking. Happy hunting out there, folks.
