Onimusha: Way of the Sword Will Launch Almost a Month Early

Fans will get to play the game way ahead of schedule!

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is the first game in the series in 20 years. Originally, it was set to launch on September 25, 2026, but Capcom has revealed that Onimusha will be launching three weeks ahead of schedule on September 4, instead. Capcom says that "players can leap into battle and absorb themselves in the Onimusha series’ long-awaited return as soon as possible."

We've seen a lot of Way of the Sword the past couple of years; the gameplay shown off during Play Days at Summer Game Fest was especially impressive, and has us raring to give the game a go. Will you be taking advantage of the game launching early? Why not let us know on social media!
