Another brick console coming soon to your shelves!

SEGA isn't any stranger to the LEGO brand; Sonic the Hedgehog sets have been in production for years now, after all. Now, the company is taking things a step further and following in Nintendo's footprints with a LEGO version of arguably its most iconic console: SEGA Genesis. A new set modeled after the birthplace of the Blue Blur is coming next month on June 1, 2026. Take a look at the set in the gallery, below:
Interestingly, builders have the choice of picking which region they'd like to represent. You can make the set into a Genesis, or go Japanese/European and make it a Mega Drive. You get the console, controllers, and a cartridge, all coalescing into an excellent conversation piece to add to any gaming collection.
More details about the LEGO SEGA Genesis set can be found at this link. At $39.99, this is certainly one of the more affordable LEGO video game-based sets out there. Will that be enough to sway you into making a purchase? Why not let us know on social media!
