We look at all of the biggest news from XBOX's latest Games Showcase.

Like Nintendo, XBOX also had its own broadcast showing off its upcoming games and projects. It was a lot of content, so let's dig in and see what really stood out and should be on everyone's radar. Without further ado...
XBOX Series X25 Limited Edition
This absolutely stunning XBOX Series X console comes in the same clear green colorway that the original Xbox console was sold in 25 years ago. The logo on the console lights up green, while the controller has classic bumpers and face button coloring. The 1TB console goes on sale this November and is likely to be a hot commodity when it does.
Gears of War: E-Day Gameplay Shown Off
Gears of War has been in a perilous state over the last couple of games, with robots replacing bugs and even the word "war" being removed from the title (because the war was over, don't you see? Ignore the continued shooting and stuff, though). With Gears of War: E-Day launching 10.06.26, however, the series is hopefully heading for a rebound. The footage shown off (and subsequent Direct broadcast that followed the Games Showcase) was immensely promising, with a back-to-basics mindset permeating the footage.
Persona 6 Exists, Get Excited
There's not much to say about Persona 6 other than that a very vague teaser was shown off during the Games Showcase. Still, this stinger was better than what fans have gotten to this point. It was also p[easing to know that it'll be coming to XBOX when it launches.
Halo: Campaign Evolved Shows Off New Content
Halo: Campaign Evolved drops very soon (07.23.26) and Microsoft showed off some of the all-new missions fans will get to enjoy. Cortana's redesign is questionable, but beyond that this is looking to be a solid (second) remake of the classic original Halo.
Spyro is Finally Back in Spyro: A Realm Beyond
It's been forever since the last Spyro game, but fans found out his next adventure is finally on the horizon. Following the success of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, it felt like it was only a matter of time until a new game was made, but years have passed without a peep from Activision or anyone else. During the Games Showcase, however, Toys For Bob was revealed to be working on Spyro: A Realm Beyond. It's set for spring 2027.
Clockwork Revolution is a Steampunk Console Exclusive (Remember Those?)
Believe it or not, XBOX has two exclusives on the way. One is the aforementioned Gear of War: E-Day, and the other is this, Clockwork Revolution. Set in a steampunk world, this RPG sees players engaging in first-person exploration and combat as they use a mysterious device to travel through time. No release date just yet, but definitely one to keep an eye out for.
Crazy Taxi: World Tour is Coming in 2027
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Crazy Taxi is back (and the Offspring, too!). SEGA had announced it was working on returning a bunch of its classic games and series to prominence, and Crazy Taxi: World Tour is one of those titles. It's scheduled for 2027 and looks to evoke the spirit of what made the series special—let's hope it follows through in the finished game.
Castlevania: Belmont's Curse Gets Spooky in October
Konami has a new Castlevania game coming out and it's coming to XBOX. Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is a traditional 2D entry in the series, developed by Evil Empire with an assist from Motion Twin (Dead Cells). Belmont's Curse launches 10.15.26.
Wo Long Gets a Sequel With Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember
Koei Tecmo's Team Ninja has an intense action game on the way for XBOX fans. Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember will "master the evolved Chinese martial arts and conquer battlefields of the Three Kingdoms overrun by monstrous demons." It launches in early 2027.
There are other games to keep an eye out for besides these. Senua is set in the Hellblade universe and stars the nominal character in an all-new adventure. Sea of Thieves is getting an expansion called Custom Seas, which offers greater levels of freedom over player connectivity and a new photo mode, launching tomorrow. State of Decay 3 launches in 2027. And finally, DOOM: The Dark Ages gets the new Revelations DLC expansion on July 7, 2026.
