State of Play: Here's Your Latest Look at Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance

Monster Hunter Wilds is gearing up for a huge expansion with the launch of the Ascendance DLC coming to the game in 2027. Capcom showed off the best look yet at the expansion during the recent State of Play broadcast. Give it a watch right below:

So, what's Ascendance all about? Capcom describes the expansion as "massive" and that it "advances the story of the Forbidden Lands as the Expedition Team’s adventure soars to a new locale set amongst the clouds." Players can look forward to exploring islands in the sky and wielding powerful new abilities. Elder Dragons and Master Rank content will also be returning, which will ramp up the difficulty for seasoned Hunters.

It all sounds pretty enticing, but players will have to wait until next year to get a hold of it all. We'll update with a release date for Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance as soon as we learn it.
