This third entry in the series comes to theaters in December.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has finally released its first trailer, and it's quite a treat for fans of the series. While word of Keanu Reeves playing antihero Shadow the Hedgehog have been running rampant for months, it doesn't get any more official than hearing him speak as the character for the first time. That's not all there is to see in this sneak peek, so let's get right to the footage:
This third entry in the beloved franchise sees Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails taking on Shadow. Jim Carrey is set to return as the villainous Dr. Robotnik (possibly as the actor's final film role), replete with the good doctor's signature belly this time round. What's more, Carrey will also be playing the role of Dr. Gerald Robotnik, Ivo's father. It's all shaping up to be one heck of a time at the cinema when Sonic 3 releases on December 20, 2024.
