Gamescom 2025 felt extra busy with a bevy of announcements and reveals that were impessive, engaging, and in many cases left the audience desperate for more. As is typically the case, the Gamescom Award was handed out for a number of different categories, and this year Capcom's Resident Evil: Requiem took home four. First, here's the list of winners:

Best Sony PlayStation Game: Resident Evil Requiem
Best Nintendo Switch 2 Game: Mario Kart World (Nintendo)

Not only did Capcom bag four awards for Requiem, the company got a fifth for having the most anticipated software lineup at the show. 2026 is shaping up to be an interesting year. Congrats to Capcom and the winners at this year's Gamescom.
