Artist Xermánico is joining the book, as well.

Joshua Willamson's run on the Man of Steel isn't going to be stopping any time soon, as the writer revealed his plans for the series starting with Superman #43 and the new story Night Shift. A lot has been happening in the world of Superman, so it seems that DC feels like a return to basics might be in order for the character, as Clark Kent will be going back to his roots as a reporter. Later this month, Clark, alongside Jimmy Olsen, will begin looking into a death cult haunting the streets of Metropolis. He will be joined by the character Marilyn Moonlight, who was introduced earlier in his run.

The story will deal with Nekron, a corrupted Black Lantern ring, and the role Marilyn Moonlight plays in the city of Metropolis. Joining Williamson will be new regular artist Alejandro "Xermánico" Germánico. Williamson says that Xermánico plans to be with the book for the long haul, so if you're a fan of his art, you're in for a treat. Superman #43 goes on sale 10.28.26.
