And more for the Ultimate Edition.

The scuttlebutt around Grand Theft Auto VI has long been that it would be a hundred dollar game at launch. The reality isn't far from that, as Rockstar revealed last week that GTA VI will be $79.99 for the standard edition at launch, while the Ultimate Edition will be $99.99. The company showed off the cover art in a new trailer:

So, what do you get in each version of the game? Here's the rundown:

  • Standard Edition | $79.99

    • Base Game

    • Vintage Vice City Pack

    • Free Month of GTA+

  • Ultimate Edition | $99.99

    • Vintage Vice City Pack

    • Free Month of GTA+

Hopefully you like digital goods, because that's how Rockstar will be selling the "physical" versions of the game: a download code in a box. That's left a sour taste in many fans' mouths as Rockstar charges a premium for the base game and $100 for the Ultimate Edition. Will it impact sales when the game finally launches on November 19, 2026? We'll all find out together.
