AMC Theatres Releasing a Bat Signal Popcorn Bucket

It coincides with the rerelease of The Batman in theaters for the character's 85th anniversary.

In case you hadn't heard, collectible, themed popcorn buckets are all the rage at theaters these days. In an effort to bolster attendance in the wake of a dearth of quality movie content following last year's Hollywood writers strike, theaters have had to get creative to keep filmgoers coming into cinemas. One such attempt has been producing popcorn buckets that straddle the line between function and art. Things have reached such a point that we recently saw Marvel dedicate an entire 10-hour video to its Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn bucket. The latest such example? AMC Theatre's bat signal popcorn bucket:

The bucket has an MSRP of $34.99 and lights up, casting the iconic Batman logo wherever you'd like it in your home. There's also a Batmobile-themed lenticular cup for $11.99, if you're interested. The promotion coincides with the return of The Batman to theaters to celebrate the character's 85th anniversary.

If you want one, act fast, because scalpers are sure to be heading to your local AMC to ruin your fun and charge you double for it on eBay.
